b2cf816df4ec5dfa6da3ef9ba89bed49 A little blue screen for everyone

The blue screen is back, brought you by Adobe!
Ok not exactly by Adobe. It’s done by this guy.

Here’s how it works.
When you enter fullscreen mode in Flash 9 there’s a little message telling you that you can exit fullscreen by pressing escape. What this guy discovered was that it’s not difficult to obscure that message and make it appear as though the machine has crashed(Windows crash).
Don’t worry about future variations(read:future pranks) though, because when Flash goes fullscreen, keyboard input is disabled.
Now if only someone is smart enough to come up with a fake OS flash done this way..

It’s amazing how elastic the human brain turns out to be.”

DEKA Research founder Dean Kamen

The kind of cybernetic arm we often envisioned in science fiction films have now gone closer to becoming a reality. Inventor Dean Kamen and his team of engineers have recently unveiled their latest project, a robotic arm that is light years ahead of the prosthetics used by amputees today. The arm, code named “Gen X - Separate Exo Control” can perform delicate actions such as picking up a wire or a grape, it even sports the possibility of performing fine motor movements such as writing.

*Note: Dean Kamen is an American entrepreneur and inventor better known for his invention of the Segway PT, his other notable inventions include the projects involving Stirling engines, the AutoSyringe as well as the iBot Mobility System.

This 47$ stand is built for iPod touch. And no, from the look of it I don’t think the iPhone would fit since it’s a little longer than the Touch. It will be available on June 7th.
I can’t resist buying one and put it next to the iMac..oh wait, I don’t have an iPod Touch. Nevermind then. Now if only the real iMac can rotate like that.
